A patient-focused approach which gives everyone the time they need is paired with best practice in modern dentistry to provide quality dental health care at the Park Street clinic.
Proprietor Maciej Wozniak acquired the practice a year ago, and his team include associate dental surgeons Christopher Bristow and Robert Kemp, and a caring, efficient team of nursing and reception staff.
A lot of emphasis is placed on continuity of care, ensuring that patients see the same dentist when they visit, and children are encouraged to look after their teeth and oral hygiene from an early age.
"People come first. We like to think we combine an old-fashioned, caring ethos with the most up-to-date dental care", said Robert Kemp.
"We provide care in an unhurried way, and if people need some extra time they get it.
"We do our best to ensure continuity of treatment and see that patients get to see their own individual dentist. They do not have to turn up and take pot luck".
Maciej Wozniak said that private dental care was provided at very competitive prices, in some circumstances comparable even with the NHS fees scale.
Additional services at Shifnal Dental Practice include teeth whitening, implants and cosmetic dentistry.
There is an option of paying a monthly fee to cover check-ups and hygienist appointments, or you can simply 'pay as you go'. Children are treated free of charge on the NHS.
Root canal work can be performed on both adults and children, and there is orthodontic (tooth straightening) treatment available if needed for children and young people.
Regular Children's Days are staged at the surgery, when the day is devoted to checking children's teeth free of charge on the NHS, and offering NHS treatment if required, along with a small free gift to young patients.
The next Children's Day is to be held on August 25, and appointments can be made by ringing the surgery on 01952 460119.
